Are you affected at all by the weather? We’ve had lots of rain lately here in California, and rain can make me feel lazy and not want to get out of bed. Not a good feeling, especially since it’s also been freezing!
But, we’re here now, and it’s been a gorgeous last few days in the Bay Area and it really got me in the mood to rearrange and style some of my new Target finds that’s quickly become some of my most favorite Target decor pieces!

Here’s what the room layout was on Valentine’s Day. I had 2 sofas in here and really loved it but when the sun came out…
I moved one of the sofas upstairs, tried this rug in here, and placed my favorite bench in front of the window… And used these cute and child friendly cube ottomans here as a coffee table.
And then of course it rained some more.. until just 2 days ago when the sun came out and I woke up in the mood to move the room around yet again, haha!

Speaking of stairs, I’m still in shock at what big change our DIY stair banister update made to this space! You can see what it looked like before here. I’ve gotten so many questions about it and will be sharing a post all about them soon!

But seriously, I’ve been loving styling the home with these pieces! We’ve owned this rug for a while now and have them in 2 different sizes, and it’s still to this day one of my favorite rugs! The pillow isn’t from Target, but is one of my faves also!
Oh, how I love to switch up the coffee table styling. If you’re itching to refresh a space and aren’t crazy like me, moving furniture all the time, a coffee table styling change up gives the same effect! Even if it means just switching out some books, or adding a new candle! Our Agape candles burn regularly around here!
Even while I was taking these pictures, I couldn’t help myself and moved the pillows around mid way. I just love warm weather and I’m really reminded of God’s grace every time I see that sun shine after the rain.
