If you’re new here, Hi, I’m Alma, a girl with a love for rearranging, restyling, and refreshing a space because it sparks joy for me. Shopping the home to refresh a space is my favorite, but I also enjoy a good find! Today is a 3 for 1 post of how I rearranged, restyled, and refreshed 3 spaces recently with a mix of already owned pieces and new Serena and Lily pieces.
We decided to give this little wall in our bedroom an update when we moved our frame tv in here, which fit perfectly on this wall. We used to have a tv mounted above the dresser, but it’s nice not having to swing the tv out when watching anymore. To make it a little more interesting, I added a simple gallery wall with art I already had, and a bar cart I was no longer using down stairs. This bar cart adds texture and interest, and I love that it’s multifunctional.
This pretty Serena and Lily vase has been on my wishlist for a while. I love the low profile and that it’s beautiful all on its own, as well as being filled with foliage or a floral arrangement. Last week I also added some battery operated candles inside which is another beautiful way to use this vase.
Our bedroom has a neutral, earthy, coastal vibe, and I think this update, with the new pieces really keeps that flow in here.
Our chandelier and bedding is also from Serena and Lily. We’ve had both for years, and I totally recommend. I really enjoy mixing high and low pieces. I also love switching between this vintage skinny bench and the woven Parisian inspired bench. I love this bench because like the bar cart, it’s so versatile and can be used in so many spaces: an entryway, at a dining table and at the end of a bed.
Here’s a first look at my older daughter’s new room. We recently closed our upstairs loft, made it into a bedroom, and moved our son there. Now the girls have their own bedrooms and our 10 year old is loving having her own space. For reference this was previously the bedroom with the black walls. She has been wanting a hanging chair, and while we actually ordered this chair to go in our covered patio, I saw how much she really loved this one. So we caved and surprised her with this. I think it’s a little oversized for her space, and maybe one day we’ll get her a single seat hanging chair, but until then she gets to enjoy this one.
I also have had my eye on the Surfside pillow and saw it’s currently on sale. The interesting stripes and unique tassel placement is so eye catching.
And the last space for today is this update with our dining space and fireplace. We moved our dining room here (more on that later) and we are loving it. We have plans this summer to frame out the fireplace and I’m still torn on the design, but decided instead of waiting, I would just hang these new wall sconces now. I was just too excited to have them sit in the box any longer. They aren’t hardwired yet, but I’ve seen some light hacks and even a battery operated light bulb I’ll more likely do while I wait to get it hardwired. I added this vase in here to give our dining table a simple centerpiece. I’ve also had this vase at our entryway, in our kitchen, and on a bookshelf. I love that it’s oversized and makes a statement.
There are the 3 spaces I refreshed recently. Hope you got some inspiration here today! Is there something you want to see here on the blog? Maybe an idea you’d like me to cover? Any questions? Leave them in the comments below. Have a great weekend! And thanks so much for being here!
